Back in August 2020, we wrote a blog post wondering why we couldn't bet on Portman Park, Steepledowns, and Sprint Valley online. We found it strange since these virtual horse races are popular and available to bet on in Betfred, Coral, Ladbrokes, and Boyle Sports shops. We were confused because there are lots of other virtual horse races available online at each of these bookmakers.
Well, guess what? As of March 2023, things have changed. You can now bet on Portman Park, Steepledowns, and Sprint Valley online at Boyle Sports, William Hill, Ladbrokes, and Coral. We're not sure yet if you will be able to bet on them at Betfred and bet365 any time soon.
However, we did find that it's quite hard to find these races on the bookmakers' websites and apps. They don't appear in the 'Virtual' sections but instead, they are in the 'Racing' sections, so they could easily be missed by users. But don't worry, we've got you covered.
